Meet Your Provider

Dr. Matt
PT, DPT

Headshot of Matt, a man with short brown hair, beard, and black glasses

Hi, I’m Matt, PT, DPT, founder of Iron Grit Barbell Physical Therapy. I help lifters and active adults build strength, move better, and train without limitations so they can lift harder, lift smarter, and stay consistent for the long haul.

My approach combines a PT-level assessment with performance-driven strength coaching. That means we don’t just chase pain relief or temporary fixes. We look at how your body moves, how you train, and where things tend to break down then build a plan that supports progress instead of forcing you to start over every time something feels off.

I work with people who aren’t broken or fragile, but who are frustrated by recurring setbacks, guesswork programming, or uncertainty around technique and progression. My goal is to give you clarity, structure, and confidence so you know how to train today and tomorrow.

At Iron Grit, every plan is individualized. You’ll get clear guidance, smart progressions, and ongoing coaching designed to help you stay strong, resilient, and in control of your training for years to come.

If lifting is part of who you are, and you want a smarter way to keep doing it, I’d love to help you get there.
